With ref or ence to my telegram No. 242 of yesterday'■
date I have the honour to molose copy of a despatch from His
Majesty's Consul-0 en«ral at Shanghai, inviting attention to
the fact that companies registered in Hongkong under the China
(Companies) Order in Council of 1915 can evade Article of the
China (Companies) Order in Council of 1918.
I have the honour to suggest that the Colanial Office
be moved to issue the necessary instructions for the issue of
an amending Ordinand &
